1. Can BSP and NH specifications be mixed?
No, they cannot be mixed.als.
2. What is the difference between the two specifications?
(The detailed differences can be provided separately if needed.)
3. Does the water valve affect the original water flow rate?
Yes, but only slightly.
4. How long does the device's battery last?
Assuming the device runs 1 hour per day and remains in standby mode for the rest of the time, the estimated battery life is 20 months (calculated based on laboratory power consumption data).
Note: The SWV device does not include batteries; users need to provide their own. The above estimate is based on a 2800mAh battery. Actual battery life depends on battery capacity and usage habits.
5. The gateway shows the latest firmware version, but the SWV does not have all functions—why?
Please check if the SWV was added to the gateway before upgrading the gateway firmware to the latest version.
If so, you need to remove the SWV device and add it again after the gateway upgrade to enable full device functionality.
6. Does the device automatically shut off when water runs out?
Yes. If the device detects water shortage and remains turned on, it will automatically shut off after 30 minutes of continuous water shortage.
7. What functions does the device support in ZHA and Z2M?
In ZHA, only water valve open/close control is supported.
In Z2M, after upgrading the device firmware to version 1.0.3 or above, it supports:
* Water valve open/close
* Flow detection
* Scheduled and volume-based irrigation (see illustration)
8. Can the device be used in low-temperature (freezing) environments?
No, SWV cannot be used in freezing conditions. The operating temperature range is 5°C to 60°C.
In freezing weather, water inlet/outlet may freeze, preventing normal valve control and flow measurement. It is recommended to bring SWV indoors during winter and only use it when temperatures warm up.
9. Will unstable water pressure affect irrigation volume measurement?
No. When water pressure fluctuates, the flow rate changes accordingly. SWV calculates irrigation volume based on the actual flow rate.
10. Why is horizontal installation not recommended?
Horizontal installation affects the flow sensor, causing inaccuracies in irrigation volume calculation. Please install the device vertically.
