SONOFF DW2 Wi-Fi es un sensor inalámbrico para puertas/ventanas que se conecta directamente a la aplicación eWeLink vía Wi-Fi, sin necesidad de un gateway separado. Una vez instalado, proporciona actualizaciones de estado en tiempo real y puede vincularse a una cámara para confirmación visual cada vez que se detecta actividad. Para asegurar una protección continua, envía alertas de batería baja y registra automáticamente hasta 3 meses de registros de actividad para un seguimiento fácil. Slightly disapointed

The sensor is a bit big compared to other in the market.
Has many issues with connecting to Wifi. I have bought 3 and 1 of them cannot access my access point, even though that the configuration is perfectly made. Always states "no connection" and that's pretty annoying, seems like a bug that is not fixed.
Easily gets out of range.

May I know for the DW2 wifi that can not connect, when you power it on, is there a red indicator flash?
Where did you buy the device? Please offer us the order receipt. Please don't worry, if a device problem, we will offer the replacement.

Works great, eats batteries

Whilst this device works great – I have mine on the door of a bin store that delivery drivers sometimes leave deliveries in – I do find I need to replace the Alkaline AAA batteries every 4-5 days. This frankly results in unacceptable levels of waste, and even at 20p/cell represents a running cost of some £30 per year per door or window. It's such a shame they didn't add a USB socket as an alternative power source, which is pretty much what I will do.

Battery Consumption

This device is amazing — definitely a 5-star product! However, I find myself needing to change the batteries every month, which can be a bit inconvenient, especially since I have 8 of them installed. That's the reason i rated it as 4

Excellent if used correctly.

I would like to inform the various users who have had connection problems with this device, because I also faced these problems but I solved them brilliantly.
The real peculiarity of this device is the wi-fi antenna, and the only way I have found to not have problems is to use an Omada AP (tp-link). These professional products offer a much better and more stable network than the integrated networks of the various modems on the market (I have a Zyxel nr5101 modem, an expensive product but the wireless part is as bad as the cheaper modems).
I repeat, using an Omada AP now, the DW2 is always online, always ready and quick in status changes, then it also connects easily with IHOST whose scenes work without hesitation, except only for an incorrect battery detection, but this is not a problem since on the EWELINK account the battery is detected correctly with the various low percentage warnings.
Product promoted, especially since thanks to the WiFi signal you can reach distances unthinkable for a zigbee network.
