Download eWeLink App

Please download the "eWeLink" App from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Power On

Plug in the Type-C power cable. The LED indicator shows "Solid Yellow" status, indicating the bridge is starting up. When you hear a prompt sound from the gateway, the device startup is complete. For first-time use, the Bridge Max enters network configuration mode by default. The indicator shows "Slow Blinking Yellow" status.

*If network configuration is not completed within 30 minutes, the device will exit pairing mode. To re-enter, press and hold the device button for 3 seconds until the LED indicator shows "Slow Blinking Yellow" status.

Ethernet Connection

Plug in the Ethernet network cable. If you need to use the Wi-Fi connection, you can configure it during eWeLink App pairing.

Scan QR Code to Add the Bridge-M

 

Add Zigbee Devices

Put the Zigbee device into pairing mode. Click "+ Add Device" on the eWeLink App (LED indicator shows fast blinking yellow status). Wait for the search to complete and add the Zigbee device.

Matter Bridge

Matter Bridge feature can bridge non-Matter protocol devices to your Matter ecosystem, allowing you to control them with Matter-compatible applications and enable smart automation with other smart home devices.

Matter Bridge Pairing

Before pairing:

• A Matter Hub (also known as Matter controller) connected to the same network as Bridge-M
  
• A Matter-compatible Application: Apple Home App, Amazon Alexa App, Google Home App, Samsung Smart Things, or Home Assistant, connected to the same network as Bridge-M
  
• Open your Matter Application and select Add Device

Step 1: Click "Matter" on the APP device page, or click the top right corner to enter the settings page and select "Matter" to enter the Matter settings page.

Step 2: Click "Matter Setup" to enable Matter pairing mode.

Step 3: Within the 15-minute countdown, use your third-party Matter application to scan the Matter pairing QR code, or enter the digital pairing code to add the device to your Matter network.

Matter Fabric Management

In the Bridge-M settings page, click "Matter" > "Added Matter Networks" to view and manage joined Matter Fabrics.

Bridging Devices/Scenes to Matter Network

Bridge eWeLink Account Devices, eWeLink-Remote Devices, and Zigbee Devices to Matter Network

Step 1: In the settings page, click "Matter" > "Sync Bridge Devices" to enter the device sync management list page.

Step 2: Click the "Edit" button, select the devices you want to sync to the Matter network, and click "Confirm" to save.

Bridge BTHome Devices to Matter Network

Step 1: In the Bridge-M settings page, click "BTHome" > "Get Started" > "Scan" to start scanning for nearby BTHome devices.

Step 2: Bridge-M will automatically add unencrypted BTHome devices. If the device uses encrypted BTHome data, prepare the 32-bit hexadecimal Bindkey. 
You can find this Bindkey on the device label, in the manufacturer's application, or in the user manual. Once devices are found, click "Sync to Matter" to enter the Matter sync management page.

Step 3: Click "Matter Sync" in the top right corner, select the devices you want to sync, and click "Confirm Sync" to complete. Successfully synced devices will appear in the Synced list.

Bridge Manual Scenes to Matter Network

Step 1: In the Bridge-M settings page, click "Matter" > "Sync Scenes" to enter the scene sync management page.

Step 2: In the scene sync management page, click "Edit" in the top right corner and select the scenes you want to bridge. If there are many scenes, you can filter them directly by tag.

Step 3: Click "Save". A confirmation pop-up will appear — click "Confirm" to bridge the selected scenes as "switches" to your added Matter ecosystem.
