Take Your Home Assistant Devices Cross-Platform, Locally – with NSPanel Pro

Introduction

NSPanel Pro v4.3.0 and above now does more than just bridge Zigbee 3.0 and SONOFF Wi-Fi devices to Matter platforms. Through the new "Home Assistant" entry in the eWeLink app, you can now sync your Home Assistant entities to Matter ecosystems like Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, and more — all while keeping control local and real-time.

The best part? Family members who aren't familiar with Home Assistant can now control your HA devices using their voice or preferred smart home apps—locally, without relying on the cloud.

How to Set It Up

⚠️ Before you begin: Make sure both your eWeLink app and NSPanel Pro are updated to the latest version.

Step 1: Connect to a Matter Fabric

Before syncing HA devices to Matter platforms, your NSPanel Pro must be connected to at least one Matter Fabric.

If you haven't connected a Matter Fabric yet:

If you're already connected to a Matter Fabric:

  • Jump directly to Step 2.

Step 2: Configure and Connect to Home Assistant

Once your Matter Fabric is set up, enter the "Sync HA Devices to Matter Fabrics" screen again. Before proceeding, make sure your NSPanel Pro and Home Assistant are on the same local network.

  • The panel will automatically scan for your Home Assistant instance.
(You can also exit Auto Scan to manually enter your Home Assistant IP address.)
  • Enter the port number.
  • Tap "Configure" – you'll be redirected to log in to your Home Assistant account.
  • Once logged in, the connection is complete.

Step 3: Bulk-Sync Your HA Devices

After connecting to Home Assistant, you can select which devices or entities to sync to your Matter platforms.
All synced devices will appear in your chosen Matter ecosystem (Apple Home, Alexa, etc.) for centralized, local control.

Managing Your Connection

Option 1: From the Home Assistant Entry

  • Tap "Revoke Authorization" to disconnect from the associated Matter platform.

Option 2: From the Matter Entry

  • Go to "Added Matter Platforms" to manage your paired platforms:
    • Tap "Remove" to disconnect a specific Matter platform.
    • Tap "Remove All" to disconnect all Matter platforms at once.
