1. What is the motion detection range and respond time?
It typically detects motion about 6 meters and has a horizontal field of view of around 120°, ideal for hallways, corridors, staircases, and entrances. It supports rapid detection, triggering linked actions in as fast as 5 seconds.
2. How good is the device's light detection capability?
The device has a built-in dedicated light sensor that can measure accurate lux values and includes a calibration function.
Different sensor orientations may cause inconsistent brightness readings. Please fix the sensor orientation and use the calibration function to adjust the brightness.
3. How can I use the device for light control?
The device itself allows you to set the lux value as a trigger condition in smart scenes, achieving an "auto-on at dusk" effect. In addition, light intensity can be combined with motion detection as a trigger condition to create an "auto-on at dusk with motion" effect, which is ideal for lighting corridors, staircases, and entrances at night.
4. Can I mount it on a ceiling or wall?
Yes. The sensor is designed for flexible mounting using magnetic attachment, screws, or adhesive. It can also be flush-mounted using an accessory (available in July 2026).
5. Will pets interfere with the device?
The device uses passive infrared (PIR) to detect motion via temperature changes. Pets with similar body temperatures (e.g., cats, dogs) may cause false alarms, but you can adjust the device's head orientation to avoid pet activity areas.
