1. What scenarios does the dual-lens design solve?
With a single-lens camera, you would need two separate cameras to cover two areas. The CAM-C44HE does it with one device and one power/network connection. Common scenarios include:
- Corner of house: Front yard & Side yard
- Above garage：Driveway & Garage door / entrance
- Front entrance：Yard / walkway & Front door
2. Can the Zigbee gateway integrate with Home Assistant? What Zigbee sub-devices are supported?
The built-in Zigbee gateway does not support Home Assistant. It only supports compatible SONOFF Zigbee sub-devices. Check the Supported Device List.
3. As a Zigbee gateway, does the camera support local smart scenes? Do they work without internet?
Yes. The camera supports both local scenes and cloud scenes. Local scenes execute entirely on the camera — they do not require an internet connection.
4. Can I use the camera with Home Assistant?
Yes. The camera integrates with Home Assistant through RTSP or ONVIF:

5. Does the camera require a subscription to record? Can I still receive events without a TF card?
No. The CAM-C44HE supports local recording to a TF/microSD card and does not rely on a cloud subscription for recording. Cloud storage is not supported. Events will still appear in the event list in the app when no TF/microSD card is inserted but event images and playback clips are not available
6. Does the camera support PoE (Power over Ethernet)? What type of Ethernet cable should I use?
PoE is not supported. The camera is powered by the included DC 12V/1A power adapter and connects to the network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
Due to the size of the Ethernet waterproof connector on the camera, we recommend using a bare network cable with a separately crimped RJ45 connector rather than a pre-molded cable with an integral boot.
7. Can the included power adapter be used outdoors?
No. The camera body is rated IP65 for outdoor use, but the included DC 12V/1A power adapter is not waterproof. The adapter should be installed indoors or in a weather-protected enclosure.
8. Can I adjust the fixed lens after installation?
Yes. The fixed lens supports manual horizontal angle adjustment after installation.
